We seek to inspire

Our community musically through partnerships with different organizations in the DC metro area. Together we create accessible music programs and activities. Here are some of our educational programs this coming season:

MASTER CLASS

THE ART OF MUSIC

Nothing is more inspiring to a young musician than to perform and receive instruction from an acclaimed master. In our master class series, young people who study classical guitar in our area have the opportunity to play for visiting Marlow Series concert artists. Performers and audience members will leave these events with a broader understanding of and appreciation for the art of music, the art of guitar and, sometimes, the art of life.

SCHOOL VISITS

Young people are inspired by and enthusiastic about our school visits! We bring guest performers to elementary and high schools in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland, to introduce students to the beauty of classical guitar. Our guest performers have included Marlow Series artists as well as youth guitar ensembles.
