CEM DURUOZ

“TURKISH GUITARIST, CEM (pronounced “Gem”), DURUOZ, WAS ABSOLUTELY SOLID, PLAYING CLEANLY AND WITH STYLE” Roundtree Guitar Festival

Cem Duruoz performances have brought forth great critical acclaim:

“…his flawless classical technique, depths of color, long flowing lines, clean playing and tight rhythmic style made everyone listen in an entirely different way. In a total hush, I felt the audience transformed.” (Roundtree Festival)

Cem’s program will feature his arrangements of the French baroque composer Marain Marais, music of his homeland, Turkey, and will end with a set of Tangos.

Cem is a remarkable player and we’re delighted to welcome his debut performance for the Marlow Series.
